This site exists because of numerous head-shaking, what-were-they-thinking decisions handed down by UDRP panels in domain name arbitrations.

The decisions could be amusing except that each one resulted in the forcible transfer of a domain name from its registered owner and to a company that in our view was not entitled to the domain.

This site intends to shed some light on this obscure corner of Internet law known as the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy, or UDRP for short.
